VO2 max

The most oxygen your body can use during hard exercise. A clear measure of aerobic fitness, and a baseline to train from.

Lung function

How much air you breathe and how fast. It helps find asthma or other causes of breathlessness during sport.

ECG

A recording of your heart’s electrical rhythm. It checks for rhythm problems before hard training.

Body composition

How much of your weight is fat and how much is lean mass. Useful to track training and diet changes.

Blood and genetic tests

Chosen with your doctor, based on your health, your sport and your goals.
